Minor Flood Warning for the Daintree and Flood Warning for the Mossman Rivers

Minor flood levels are expected on the Daintree River during Thursday.
50-150 mm of rainfall has been recorded across the Mossman and Daintree River catchments in the past 36 hours. Further heavy rainfall is expected throughout Thursday.
River level rises are occurring across the Daintree River catchment.
The Daintree River at Daintree Village reached the minor flood level early Thursday morning and is currently 3.75 m and falling slowly. Renewed rises above the minor flood level (4.00 m) are expected during Thursday.
Renewed rises are being recorded in the Mossman River. Higher levels are expected during Thursday as the heavy rainfall continues.
