Wujal Wujal boat ramp is closed until further notice following numerous crocodile sightings.

ACCESS TO THE WUJAL WUJAL BOAT RAMP IS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. PARENTS AND CARERS – NO CHILDREN SHOULD BE LEFT UNSUPERVISED IN ALL LOCATIONS ALONG THE BLOOMFIELD RIVER.

Numerous crocodiles have been sighted near and at the Wujal Wujal boat ramp – this area is now closed and classified as unsafe to the pubic effective immediately. Council have advised the authorities. Access is strictly limited to the Police, Rangers and nominated Council employees.

AVOID leaving fish and turtle scraps in the vicinity of the boat ramp and frequently visited areas as this attracts crocodiles.
